1.) Oconee County

The streets of Downtown Greensboro are inviting to everyone who visits; there are plenty of good places to eat, shopping opportunities, and places to see!

๐Ÿป They said “good times and good beer” at 202 North West Street in Downtown Greensboro! If you are looking for a good time with friends, head to Oconee County Brewing! Come and enjoy craft beer while watching their corn hole league, enjoy your favorite game on their big television screens, and more.

๐Ÿš— Tour the oldest standing masonry jail in Georgia! Completed in 1807, the jail has remained in tact for 200 years, and was last used in 1890. The building has 2ft thick walls, two stories, and even a trapdoor!

๐Ÿ–ผ Head to the biggest and best antique mall in the Lake Oconee area! If you are an antique collector or love to browse antique markets, this is the place for you. Open 7 days a week, with 11,000 sq. ft., Greensboro Antique Mall has over 50 dealers. You are sure to find something old, but something new for you to enjoy!

3.) Hancock County

Full of good food and lots of outdoor activities, Hancock County got its territory from Greene and Washington counties in 1793. Its name honors John Hancock whose signature heads the list of signers of the Declaration of Independence.

4.) Washington County

๐Ÿ• To eat, we recommend Trackside Pub & Deli! They offer the best soups, fresh salads and sandwiches. However, the showstopper is their made-to-order pizzas baked fresh in a brick oven!

๐Ÿš History buffs will love to stop by to visit the Warthen Old Jail, the oldest wooden jail in Georgia! This historic jail was built from rough hand-hewn logs from local timber, and has withstood the tests of time!

5.) Johnson County

๐Ÿฅฉ Located in Wrightsville, Cattle Bay Restaurant is a family Steak and Seafood restaurant. They offer a variety of items. Daily lunch buffet 11-3, Nightly Specials starting at 5, and Friday and Saturday night Seafood Buffet starting at 5. Stop by and check ’em out!
