The crisp air carries more than just the scent of autumn leaves this year – it brings the excitement of discovery, the thrill of the hunt, and the promise of hidden gems waiting to be unearthed. Mark your calendars, treasure hunters! The 2nd Annual Traditions Treasures Yard Sale is rolling into town on November 8th, 2025, transforming hotspots along Georgia’s Traditions Highway 15 into a hunt of incredible finds and unforgettable bargains.

A Highway of Stories and Surprises

Picture this: You’re cruising down Highway 15 with your morning coffee in hand, the sky is bright across the Georgia countryside. But this isn’t just any Saturday drive. From 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, the participating communities along Traditions Highway come alive with the energy of vendors… each tent, table, and local business telling its own story through vintage treasures, handmade crafts, and sidewalk sales.

The magic of Traditions Treasures isn’t just in what you might find, it’s in the journey itself. This isn’t your typical neighborhood yard sale. It’s a multi-community-wide celebration where the highway becomes a ribbon connecting towns, stories, and people in one grand treasure-hunting adventure. In addition to hotspots and official vendors listed below, lots of businesses like Market on Central in Tennille will be celebrating their Holiday Open House and Cornerstone Gifts and Thrifts in Sandersville will be having a sidewalk sale. Be on the lookout for local merchants hosting special events and joining in on the fun!

Your Treasure Map: Hotspots and Official Vendors

While individual sellers may pop up anywhere along the highway (we call them our “unofficial vendors” – and they’re absolutely part of the fun!), the real action concentrates at our Hotspots and Official Vendor Sites.

Hotspots – Where the Action Is

These prime locations are the beating heart of Traditions Treasures, where multiple vendors gather to create treasure-hunting zones. Expect concentrated shopping, special activities, and that electric yard sale energy that makes you want to check just one more table. Our hotspots for the 2025 Traditions Treasures Yard Sale are Downtown Sandersville  Square, the Johnson County Courthouse Square in Wrightsville, and the Appling County Ag Center at 2761 Blackshear Hwy in Baxley.

Official Vendor Sites

Look for distinctive Traditions Treasures signs! These registered vendors proudly display official signage – your guarantee of quality finds and authentic treasure-hunting experiences. These sites must be within visual distance of Highway 15, making them easy to spot as you cruise along. Spot the official vendor signage on 53 Young Rd. in Tennille, Ga. 31089 between Sandersville and Wrightsville and at “Thrifters on the Hill” in Tennille, Ga. 3006 Highway 15 S,!

The Art of the Hunt: Tips from Seasoned Treasure Seekers

Veterans of last year’s sale will tell you: come early, bring cash (some yard sale vendors can’t accept electronic payments), and don’t forget your sense of adventure. Pack that trailer if you’ve got one because you never know when you’ll stumble upon that perfect vintage dresser or that collection of tools your garage has been missing.

Safety first, treasure hunters! Remember to:

  • Park safely off the highway – never in the road, right-of-way, or medians
  • Keep moving traffic in mind – the highway is for vehicles, not foot traffic. Traditions Highway 15 will not be closed or re-routed for this event.
  • Drive cautiously between stops

A Pit Stop for Dawg Fans

Here’s a fun stop between treasure hunting that’s become a Traditions Highway tradition itself: Stop by the famous UGA Barn Sign between Wrightsville and Tennille (conveniently close to hotspots!). Artist Ross Smith keeps this roadside canvas updated with messages for Bulldog Nation, and this weekend, you can snap a photo wishing the Dawgs good luck as they face Mississippi State at Davis Wade Stadium. It’s become such a phenomenon that on game days, you’ll find a steady stream of red-and-black-clad fans pulling over for their selfie moment. This month, The UGA Barn Sign has hosted 25 years of messages! You can follow along on their Facebook page for Georgia Football updates, new signage, merch, and more.

Ready to Hunt?

So gather your treasure-hunting crew, map out your route, and prepare for a day of adventure. Whether you’re searching for that perfect vintage piece, hunting for holiday gifts with a story, or just enjoying a beautiful November day exploring Georgia’s Traditions Highway, the 2nd Annual Traditions Treasures Yard Sale promises surprises around every bend.

See you on the highway, treasure hunters. May your gas tank be full, your cash be plenty, and your finds be legendary!
