Historic Downtown Greensboro Walking Tour

Established in 1786, Greensborough (later shortened to Greensboro) and Greene County were named for Revolutionary War hero, General Nathanael Greene. The city was laid out in a traditional quadrangle from between North, South, East and West Streets.

Cemetery Walking Tour 

The Greensboro City Cemetery, dating from mid-1700s, has many beautiful old monuments and is the burial place of pioneer settlers, noted political figures, community leaders and their families. 

Solar Box Tour

Greensboro’s Solar Box History Tour features history stories from some of the most notable places in the town, including the Old Gaol (jail), Wyatt Jail, Dr. Baber House, Historic Springfield Church, and more!

Festival Hall

Festival Hall is Greensboro’s downtown performing arts venue.  The hall features a wide selection of cultural events throughout the year and is available to rent for private functions.
