Elder Mill Covered Bridge, 1897

The Elder Mill Covered Bridge is one of thirteen functioning covered bridges in Georgia, and the only covered bridge along the Georgia Antebellum Trail. Travel across the wooden trusses of the bridge that sits above Rose Creek.

Eagle Tavern Museum, 1801

Once a stagecoach stop, the museum tour takes you into the life of a traveler in the 1800s. Tours are given Monday and Friday . Tour times are on the hour starting at 10 am and last tour of the day starts at 3 pm , closed noon to 1 pm .

Classic City Clydesdales

A rare attraction to the South, the Classic City Clydesdale offers tours in which visitors can get up close and personal with a larger-than-life Clydesdale horse.  The farm is open for tours and trail rides by appointment only.

Washington Farms

Washington Farms is a local, family owned agritourism u-pick farm. In the spring, the farm offers strawberries for picking and holds events such as Super Spring Saturdays. During the fall, You can enjoy a 6.5 acre corn maze, pumpkins and sunflowers for picking. They also have family fun farm’s activities such as a petting zoo, corn maze, wagon rides, paintball gallery, inflatables, and more for your enjoyment.

Heritage Park

Heritage Park is 364 acres of attractive park setting with woods, creeks, and the Appalachee River. The park is a quiet place to take a relaxing walk on the 2.5 miles of walking trails, a challenging bike excursion on the 9.5 miles of bike trails, a scenic ride on the 4.5 miles of equestrian trails, and a family picnic or just a place to breathe in fresh country air.
